Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite five saves from junior keeper
Hector Guerrero (Mexico City), the Pennsylvania College of Technology lost 2-0 to crosstown rival Lycoming College in the annual Battle for the Lumber game. Lycoming was a dominant force in the game outshooting the Wildcats 20-4. Abdullahi Abdi scored both goals for the Warriors as they improve to 4-0-1 while Penn College drops to 2-3.
Out of Lycoming's 20 shots only seven were on goal. The team got on the board in the 19
th when Abdi took a pass from Keenthy Yeboah and sent it into the right corner past Guerrero.
The Wildcats looked stronger in the second putting pressure on the Warriors and getting off three shots but a foul in the box sent Abdi to the line for the penalty kick and eventual goal to give the team the two goal cushion.

Taylor Fegley (Millerstown) led Penn College totaling two shots in the game.
Lycoming now has a 4-0 record against the Wildcats in the Battle of the Lumber games.
Next up, Penn College hosts its first conference match against Morrisville State on Saturday Sept. 13 at 3 p.m.
