Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore keeper
Colleen Bowes (Wayne) made a season high 18 saves as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team lost 3-0 to Penn State Harrisburg Wednesday night. The Lady Wildcats were outshot 30-5 in the game with Bowes making some big saves to keep the game close. With the loss, Penn College falls to 3-7 overall.
Harrisburg (4-3) opened the game in the 13
th when Erica Hile tapped in a pass from Hannah Jorich. Rachel Shetler scored in the 31
st from Kylie Courtney taking her team into the half up 2-0.
Penn College totaled three shots in the half.
The Lady Wildcats had some better chances and possessed the ball much more in the second half, but a goal from Jorich off a rebound in the 80
th sealed the victory for Harrisburg.
Next up, Penn College hosts St. Elizabeth College on Saturday, Sept. 27 for a 1 p.m. match.
