Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women's volleyball team lost 3-0 in its final two matches of the Lycoming College Classic Saturday.  The Lady Wildcats faced College of St. Mary's and followed up with the host Lycoming.  Despite the losses, senior Courtney Gernert (Palmyra) was named to the All-Tournament team totaling 32 kills and 54 digs in four games of the two day tournament.  With the two losses, Penn College is now 6-9 overall.
 
Against St. Mary's (9-5), the Lady Wildcats lost 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.  Gernert led with nine kills and 19 digs while freshmen Kaitlyn Young (Harrisonburg, Va.) and Samantha Pogash (St. Clair) had 11 and 10 digs respectively.  Freshman Sophie Coldsmith (Gettysburg) also added 21 assists.

St. Mary's was strong offensively totaling 42 kills in the game.

Against Lycoming (12-9), Penn College was defeated 25-17, 25-15, 25-20. Gernert again led the offense this time with seven kills.  Pogash was strong defensively with 15 digs.  Coldsmith totaled 19 assists.

Lycoming was also strong offensively with 38 kills and hitting .237 (38-15-97) for the game.
 
Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State Berks on Tuesday, Sept. 30 for a 7 p.m. match.
