WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a pair non-conference tennis matches to King's College Sunday. The men fell 8-1, while the women dropped a 9-0 decision. Both teams fell to 0-2.
In the men's meet,
Blake Whitmore and Tucker Phillipe-Johansson picked up Penn College's only win in No. 2 doubles with a 9-8 (7-2) victory.
Will DeMarco had Penn College's most competitive with a 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 setback at No. 4.
In the women's meet,
Autumn McCrum and
Alexis Youse had the most competitive match for the Wildcats at No. 2 double with an 8-3 setback. King's swept all of the singles and doubles matches.
