HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Penn College dropped a men's and women's tennis doubleheader to Juniata College in non-conference action Sunday. The Eagles won both matches 9-0.
How it happened: Juniata dropped nine sets in men's singles competition and one set in doubles. The Eagles also swept all nine women's matches.
Inside the box: Tucker Phillipe-Johansson had the most competitive match for Penn College in No. 1 men's singles. After losing 6-0 in the first set, he forced a tiebreaker in the second, falling 7-6 (7-1).
Alexis Youse and Cassie Shook had the most competitive match in No. 2 doubles, before falling 8-4.
