WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College  men's and women's tennis teams each won their home North Eastern Athletic Conference matches Tuesday by 6-3 scores. The Wildcat women completed regular-season play with a 2-2 record and the men were 1-3.
 
How it happened: Both teams won four singles and two doubles matches, picking up five wins by forfeit.
 
Inside the box (men): Tucker Phillippe-Johansson became the first Penn College men's player to complete an unbeaten NEAC regular season at the No. 1 singles position when he won, 7-5, 7-5, to finish 4-0.
Also in singles, Zack Burkhart won at No. 4, 0-6, 7-6 (7-4 tiebreaker), 10-7; and 
Tommy Cavanagh and 
Daniel Gianelle won by forfeit at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. In men's doubles, Burkhart and 
Wade Woolley won at No. 2, 8-6, and Cavanagh/Gianelle won at No. 3, by forfeit.
Inside the box (women): In singles, 
Georgia Macensky won at No. 3, 6-1, 7-5; 
Amber Leitzel won at No. 4, 5-7, 6-4, 10-4 (tiebreaker); 
Marcie Harman won at No. 5, 3-3, retired; and 
Cassie Shook won at No. 6, by forfeit. In women's doubles, Macensky and Leitzel won at No. 2, 8-6, and Harman and 
Shelby Lanyon won at No. 3, by forfeit.
