Penn College Competes at Misericordia Invite
DALLAS, Pa. — Penn College finished ninth in its nonconference cross-country season opener at Misericordia University Friday evening. Noah Bowers led the Wildcats with a 57th-place finish.
Penn College runners: Bowers finished the course in 15:38.80, Nick Snow was 64th in 16:05.60, Will Deem was 67th in 16:13.50, AJ Wiles was 87th in 17:35.30 and William Roever was 92nd in 18:33.90. Also for Penn College, Chad Bomboy was 94th in 18:51.
The field: Susquehanna University won the 10-team men's event with Jack Warehime topping the 98-runner field in 12:55.80.
In women's competition, Penn College didn't have enough runners to field a team, but Taylor Schon led the way with a 74th-place finish in 20:20.60. Also for the Wildcats, Avery Baker was 75th in 20:24.30, Cinnamon Digan was 76th in 20:28.30 and Aubrey Stetts was 85th in 24:00.50.
The women's field: Misericordia took top honors among six teams and Suquehanna University's Kallan Carter finished first among 91 runners in 15:22.80.
