WILLIAMSPORTS, Pa. – Penn College recently inducted its fifth class of Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. The honorees included 25 student-athletes, representing 13 teams, and an average GPA of 3.67.
This year's class joins 87 previously inducted student-athletes. A student-athlete must be in their junior or senior year with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 to be eligible.
Penn College is a member of Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, which was officially chartered on January 8, 2019, and joins more than 220 Division I, Division II and Division III colleges and universities, including three schools from the United East, in recognizing elite student-athletes who succeed in their sport and in the classroom.
