Penn College women drop finale to PS Altoona

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's women's tennis team closed out its season with a 5-2 home nonconference match loss to Penn State Altoona on Friday. Penn College ends 2-15 and Altoona improves to 10-11.

How it happened: Altoona won four singles matches and all three in doubles.

Inside the box: Posting singles wins for Penn College were Lauren Peck at No. 2, 6-1, 6-2, and Faith Murray at No. 3, 6-6 (6-4 tiebreaker), 7-5.
