Rob Lytle



Rob Lytle was named head men's golf coach prior to the 2021-22 season. 

In 2024, the Wildcats repeated as United East Champions headlined by Lytle being named UE Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season and Peyton Mussina named UE Golfer of the Year and Individual Medalist at both of the United East Fall Preview and Championship events. Mussina and Trevor Keaton (4th) earned United East First Team honors while Gavin Baer, Gunner Redmond, and Will Orwig played to second-team results. The Wildcats finished 29th at the NCAA Championships and Mussina capped the season with an individual 17th-place finish at the championship. Mussina racked up PING/GCAA All-Region 3 and Cobalt Golf DIII All-America Scholar while Baer also earned Colabt Golf DIII All-America Scholar honors. 

Penn College claimed its second conference championship with a United East title in the DIII-era and finished in 37th-place in the NCAA Tournament. Lytle, who was named United East Coach of the Year, helped Peyton Mussina earn a runner-up finish and first team all-conference honors in the conference tournament while Gunner Redmond and Will Orwig placed eighth and 10th, respectively to earn second team awards.  

In Lytle's first season, the Wildcats finished third in the United East Championship with three top-20 individual finishes in the field highlighted by freshman Gavin Baer placing sixth overall,earning second team all-conference and United East Rookie of the Year honors.
