Penn College announced Dalton Rohrbaugh as the seventh head coach of the wrestling program in September 2024.

In just his first season at the helm, Rohrbaugh led the Wildcats to an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship with eight individual conference champions. The Wildcats finished with a 7-2 overall record and a 4-0 conference dual meet record while finishing in the top five at all four regular season tournaments. Rohrbaugh led a program-tying record five All-Region wrestlers as Noah Hunt (141), TJ Martin (149), Carter Davis (165), Isaac Cory (184) and Nick Woodruff (197) finished top-8 at the Region 2 Championships. Hunt earned his 100th career victory and became just the second Wildcat to reach the NCAA Division III Championships by placing third in the region. Off the mats, the Wildcats earned the AMCC Team Peak Performer award given to the team with the highest cumulative GPA as 25 Wildcats were named to the All-Academic Team. Hunt, Martin, Davis and Woodruff added NWCA Scholar All-America status at the conclusion of the season.

Rohrbaugh previously spent one season on the Shenandoah University wrestling coaching staff where his responsibilities included organizing and implementing practices, scouting and recruiting prospective student-athletes, and managing various aspects of the team's operations.

Before his time at Shenandoah, Rohrbaugh served as an assistant coach at Mayfield Mat Academy from 2020 to 2023. Rohrbaugh was responsible for creating and executing practice plans, clinics, and special events. In addition to his coaching roles, Rohrbaugh worked as an athletic department intern at Spring Grove Area High School in 2023. His responsibilities included marketing events, creating game day graphics, and assisting with budgeting efforts.

As a collegiate wrestler, he helped Lock Haven University to two Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) and PSAC championships in 2018 and 2019 and was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American at York College of Pennsylvania. In 2023, he capped off his collegiate career as the NCAA Division III Runner-up, finishing with a career 75-22 record, including a 52-4 mark in Division III competition.
