Britni Mohney was named Penn College's head women’s basketball coach in 2019.

Mohney led the Wildcats to a 15-11 record - its best mark in the NCAA-era and the most wins in a single-season since winning 16 games in the 2008-09 campaign. Penn College earned the No. 4 seed and a first round bye in the United East playoff after a program-high 12-4 conference record. Mohney led two All-Conference talents in Freshman Gigi Parlante who earned first team honors and was named Rookie of the Year, and Rachel Teats who picked up her third career second team selection.

The Wildcats' finished with a 6-20 overal record and 2-10 United East mark under Mohney in the 2023-24 campaign. Mohney coached Rachel Teats to her second United East All-Conference Second Team selection to become just the second two-time selection in the NCAA-era.

Mohney coached Penn College to consecutive seven-win seasons during her first two seasons in Williamsport - which was Penn College's second highest win totals since joining the NCAA in 2014. Mohney guided the Wildcats to its first-ever United East playoff berth in 2022-23 after a 10-win regular season and coached an United East second team selection. 

In the summer of 2023, Mohney was selected to be a member of the coaching staff of the 2023 NCAA College Basketball Academy

Prior to Penn College, Mohney spent the five years as the head coach at Salem College, an all-women’s college in Winston Salem, N.C. Mohney mentored the conference player of the year in 2014-15 and guided her team to regular season championships in 2015 and 2016. Mohney’s teams reached the postseason in four of her five seasons in Winston Salem.

Prior to Salem, Mohney was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Keuka College and the head cross country coach. Her stint at Keuka followed two years as a graduate assistant at Utica, where she began her coaching career after graduating from Allegheny College.

Mohney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics from Allegheny College and received her MBA from Utica College in Economics Crime and Fraud Management. She resides in Williamsport with her beloved pet Rocky.
