Britni Mohney was elevated to Assistant Director of Athletics in 2022.
Mohney was named Head Women's Basketball Coach and Senior Woman Administrator in 2019 and served as the Interim Director of Athletics during the 2021-22 academic year. Mohney served as the United East SWA chair from 2020-22 and is a member of Penn College's Title IX committee and the Student Engagement Taskforce. She oversees the department's academic success program and is the department's Admissions liaison.Â
Prior to Penn College, Mohney spent five years as the head coach at Salem College, an all-women’s college in Winston Salem, N.C. Mohney mentored the conference player of the year in 2014-15 and guided her team to regular season championships in 2015 and 2016. Mohney’s teams reached the postseason in four of her five seasons in Winston Salem.
Prior to Salem, Mohney was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Keuka College and the head cross country coach. Her stint at Keuka followed two years as a graduate assistant at Utica, where she began her coaching career after graduating from Allegheny College.
Mohney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics from Allegheny College and received her MBA from Utica College in Economics Crime and Fraud Management.
