Penn College came out a bit sluggish in the first half having just come off a hard-fought win against conference leader Morrisville State. They totaled 12 shots to Cazenovia's (3-3, 2-2 NEAC) seven. Guerrero stopped three in the period.
The Wildcats looked stronger in the second and had several opportunities but keeper Brad LeFevre made some key saves to stop the threat. LeFevre finished the afternoon with six saves.
Hanehan scored the game-winner off a set piece ripping the ball into the upper 90 past a diving Guerrero. The Wildcats had two more scoring opportunities, but could not convert.
