Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Bible College knocked off Penn College 77-57 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Wednesday. The Chargers improved to 3-0 NEAC, 8-1 overall, while the Wildcats fell to 1-3, 2-8.
Nathaniel Brown finished with a team-high 14 points for Penn College and
James Boylan grabbed a team-best seven rebounds.
C.J. Bunston scored a game-high 21 points for LBC, Naheer Mirza added 15 and Dondre Perry finished with 14.
After
Marquis Delgado evened the game with layup with 17:07 left in the first half, the Chargers went on an 8-0 run to lead 15-7 with 13:05 on the clock. Brown netted the next seven points to put the Wildcats within one, 15-14, at 10:55 before LBC regrouped a led 43-30 at halftime.
The Chargers lead never dipped below double digits in the second half and LBC led by as many as 28 in the final period.
Penn College returns to the court Saturday, 4 p.m., hosting Gallaudet.
