MORRISTOWN, N.J. - Penn College won its second straight match with a 7-0 shutout against College of Saint Elizabeth in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 7-6-2 overall, 7-1-1 NEAC, while the Eagles fell to 0-13, 0-8.
Hanna Williams started the scoring in the fourth minute after depositing a pass from
Robyn Beddow. Beddow took her turn in the scoring onslaught in the 16
th minute with an unassisted tally.
Hailee Hartman connected with
Breanna Cline in the 17
th minute and
Jane Herman hooked up with
Christina Weber in the 18
th minute to give Penn College a 4-0 halftime lead.
Karlee Moyer and Hartman netted unassisted scores in the 51
st and 53
rd minutes before
Angela Maniscalco found
Chelsea Zembower in the 80
th minute for the final goal of the game.
Penn College fired 31 shots and held CSE to zero shots. The Wildcats also held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Mariah Lavorina picked up 10 saves in goal for CSE, while
Colleen Bowes picked up the win without a save.
