Daniel Hibbs' penalty kick in the 58
th minute lifted Penn College to a 1-0 win over SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 5-6 overall, 3-1 NEAC, while the Tigers dropped to 0-7, 0-3.
Penn College managed four shots on goal in the first half but Cobleskill keeper Tanner Puff turned away shots from

Mason Merrill and

Hunter Gosnell stopped two shots in the first half.
Hibbs' PK came early in the second half after a foul in the box by the Tigers. Gosnell preserved the shutout with two consecutive stops in the 82
nd minute for Penn College.
Penn College finished the game with an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks, while both teams were equal in shots with 14 each.
Gosnell finished with six saves and Puff recorded five.
Penn College returns to action Tuesday, 7 p.m., hosting crosstown rival Lycoming College.
