Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Penn College knocked off SUNY Cobleskill 2-1 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats remained unbeaten in the conference at 4-0-1, 4-4-2 overall, while the Tigers fell to 1-3, 1-7-1.
Penn College fired off nine shots in the opening 15 minutes before
Angela Maniscalco netted her first goal of the season in the 15
th minute. Morganne Dick capitalized on a failed clear when she deposited the deflection of a Penn College defender to the back of the net in the 43
rd minute.
The deadlock was broken in the 82
nd minute when a Cobleskill defender knocked in a Penn College shot to put the Wildcats ahead 2-1.
Penn College finished the match with a 32-6 advantage in shots and 12-3 in corner kicks.
Hailey Heistand picked up the win in goal for the Wildcats with three saves, and Sabrina Adams stopped nine shots for Cobleskill.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 3:30 p.m., at Lycoming College.
