ALFRED, N.Y. – Alfred University tacked on three goals in the first half en route to a 4-0 win over Penn College in a non-conference men's soccer match Sunday. The Saxons improved to 2-1, while the Wildcats fell to 2-2.
Alfred took a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute when Oumar Soumahoro's shot found the back of the net. Soumahoro assisted the Saxons second goal in the in the 20
th minute when his cross found Alex Tostansoki. The Wildcats survived a four-shot barrage in the 26
th minute before Aidan Calkins made it 2-0 in the 35
th minute.

th minute on a header by Richard Lander.
The Saxons peppered 39 shot and Penn College goalie
Malcolm Kane stopped 12 shots on goal. The Wildcats were held to four shots and two corners.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 4 p.m., at King's College.
