Penn College Drops OT Decision to SUNY Poly

Box Score UTICA, N.Y. – Penn College dropped a 1-0 overtime contest to SUNY Poly in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Sunday. PCT fell to 8-2 NEAC, 9-6-1 overall, while Poly improved to 7-3, 10-4-1.
 
Following 90 minutes of scoreless soccer, Poly ended the match early in overtime when Meral Evke found Jordan Case in the 91st minute.
 
Penn College managed one shot on goal in the first half when Angela Bartlett stopped a Tiffany Brown attempt in the 13th minute. PCT goalie keeper Colleen Bowes stopped four shots in the opening period.
 
Bowes stopped six shots in the second half, while PCT's offense failed to put a ball on frame in the second stanza.
 
Poly outshot Penn College 27-3 and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
 
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., at Lancaster Bible.
