DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Delaware Valley netted a pair of second half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Penn College in a non-conference men's soccer match Thursday. The Rams improved to 7-10-1, while the Wildcats fell to 3-16.
After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Nick Miller found the back of the net twice. The first in the 54
th minute and the second in the 71
st minute.
Penn College missed two breakaways opportunities early in the second half when
Luke McFalls fired wide in the 44
th minute and
Austin Dowrick's attempt was stopped in the 39
th minute.
Delaware Valley outshot the Wildcats 29-12 and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell picked up 11 saves for Penn College.
The Wildcats conclude their season Saturday, 2 p.m., hosting Saint Elizabeth.
