LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Bible College knocked off Penn College 91-65 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Monday. The Chargers improved to 22-3 overall, 19-1 NEAC, while the Wildcats ended their season at 3-19, 3-17.
Danielle Mowery and
Alicia Ross led Penn College with 18 points each.
Jamie Steer added 16 and
Niesha Williams finished with 11.
Already the program's all-time leading scorer, Steer finished her career with 1,422 points.
Ross finished the season with 1,105 career points and will enter her senior season 317 points shy of tying Steer's mark.
Shanice Smith scored a game-high 26 points for LBC and grabbed 15 rebounds. Kirsten Webster added 25 points and 10 rebounds, Katy Stover pumped in 22 points and Krissy Pennell notched 11.
The Chargers led 28-16 after the first and 44-32 at halftime. LBC outscored Penn College 25-14 in the third and 22-19 in the fourth.
