WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After nearly a month away from competitive play due to weather, Penn College took the field Wednesday. The Wildcats dropped a 9-1 decision to Lycoming College in a non-conference softball contest. Penn College fell to 4-5.

The Warriors jumped out to a 6-0 lead through the first two innings before Penn College put its lone run on the board in the fourth inning. Elizabeth Asher's single to left plated Kylie Shreiner to make it 6-1.
Lycoming ended the game with three runs in the fifth inning.

Amanda Kustanbauter fell to 1-4 after two innings in the circle. She allowed six earned runs on six hits, with one strikeout and four walks.

Penn College returns to action Saturday at Morrisville.
