WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College picked up its first North Eastern Athletic Conference win in a 3-1 victory over SUNY Cobleskill Saturday, and later fell to Gwynedd Mercy, 3-0, as part of tri-match. The Wildcats are 2-7 overall, 1-3 NEAC this season.
Against Cobleskill,
The Wildcats edged the Tigers in four sets with two-point margins in the first two (25-23), and by three points in the fourth (25-22). Cobleskill won the third 25-14.
Penn College converted 124 attacks into 25 kills, while Cobleskill had 35 kills on 159 total attached.
Sophie Coldsmith paced the Wildcats in four major categories with eight kills, four aces, 12 assists, and 25 digs.
Christine Limbert and Emailie Marnati led Penn College with three blocks each.

The Griffins won it straight sets, 3-0. GM edged PCT 26-24 in the first set, and took the last two, 25-18 and 25-22.
The Wildcats tuned 118 attacks into 32 kills and picked up nine aces. The Griffins had 31 kills on 106 attack, with 10 aces.
Coldsmith paced PCT in aces (4), blocks (2), assists (17), and digs (19), while
