Wilson Drops Penn College

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Penn College dropped an 87-72 decision to Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 0-5 NEAC, 1-13 overall, while the Phoenix improved to 4-2, 10-5.

James Bullock led Penn College with a game-high 23 points, on 5 of 12 shooting. Robert Young Jr. finished with 13, and Carson Garvis added 10. Ben Sosa grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Zach Powell finished with 18 points for Wilson, Keion Adams added 14, and Rashaan Bean netted 13.

Following a 17-17 deadlock after Jesse White's jumper at 11:47, Wilson went on a 15-3 run to take a 32-20 lead with 6:11 on the clock. Penn College pulled within six, 34-28, on Garvis' layup at 2:02, but the Phoenix ended the half on 10-0 run to lead 44-28 at the break.

Wilson led by double-digits the remainder of the game.

Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 6 p.m., hosting Cazenovia.
