ALTOONA, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 3-1 decision to Penn State Altoona in a non-conference women's soccer match Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 10-4, while the Nittany Lions improved to 7-6-2.

Kaelan Cronan scored her 13^th goal this season when finished off a long pass from Dominque Brown in the 20^th minute. Altoona answered with two goals before the break to lead 2-1 at halftime.
The Lions added a late insurance goal in the 81^st minute.

The Wildcats missed several chances for points in the second half for their four good attempts were saved. Cronan and Abby Williams had shots stopped in the 52^nd and 55^th minutes, while Jenna Rejman had a pair of shots stopped in the 76^th minute.

Altoona outshot Penn College 19-15, while the corner kicks were even at four each.

Taylor Gonzales and Charlee Marshall combined for seven saves in goal.

Penn College returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., at Keuka.
