LA PLUME, PA. – Keystone College used a 15-point first half lead to outlast Penn College 66-57 in a non-conference women's basketball game Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 1-9, while the Giants improved to 5-5.
Gwendolyn Lavell led Penn College with 13 points,
Cassi Kuhns added 12, and
Kaylah Brown finished with 10 points.
Maci Ilgen and
Madison Klock both grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Khaliah Gordon scored a game-high 19 points for Keystone and three other Giants reached double figures in scoring.
KC built a 22-12 first quarter lead and led 41-26 at halftime. Penn College outpaced the Giants in third, 17-15, and the fourth, 14-10.
Penn College returns to action Jan. 3, 5 p.m., at Misericordia.
