WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped an 88-61 decision to Marymount University in the first game of the Crosstown Challenge Tuesday. The Saints improved to 7-4, while the Wildcats fell to 1-9.
Ryan Lockman scored a game-high 19 points, on 7 of 11 from the field and 5 of 7 from the line, and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for Penn College.
Ben Sosa added 14 points and eight rebounds and
Obens Luxama finished with 10 points.
Ladarius McCord led MU with 13 points and Brandon Rogers added 10.
The Saints built an 18-0 lead in the opening five minutes en route to a 43-28 halftime lead. MU outlasted Penn College 45-33 in the second half.
The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the second game of the Crosstown Challenge hosting Chatham.
