Outside the Box: "Despite only having seven ladies available to play today, we were somewhat successful as we took the first set against Cazenovia in the second match," said PCT coach
Bambi Hawkins. "
Coryn Oswald stepped up to lead the team not only in stats, but also in her efforts to encourage her teammates throughout the day.
Peyton Homan was asked to play all around, and she not only played well at the net with a high hitting average, but she was quite solid in the back row as well. We asked Abbi Mingus to be a defensive specialist at the end of the day, and were excited to have her step in and tackle exactly what we asked of her. We have some really hard working ladies, but today ended at 0-2."
