READING, Pa. – Penn College fell to Penn State Berks, 93-56, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 1-23 overall, 0-15 NEAC, while the Lions improved to 8-13, 6-9.
Ja'Quela Dyer picked up a double-double with a team-high 12 points and a team-best 10 rebounds.
Kaylah Brown also finished with 12 points for Penn College.
Kylie Herman netted a game-high 20 points for Berks and Deanna Daddona finished with 16.
Berks jumped out to a 32-14 lead after the first and led 53-30 at halftime. The Lions outpointed the Wildcats, 17-15, in the third and 23-11 in the fourth.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., hosting Gallaudet.
