WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 3-1 decision to Cabrini University in a non-conference baseball game Thursday. The Wildcats fell to 7-18, while the Cavaliers improved to 25-7.
After five scoreless innings, Cabrini added three runs in the sixth before
Brittan Kittle smacked a solo homer in the bottom of the frame to make it 3-1.
Kittle led Penn College at the plate with two hits – including a double.
Braden Smith fell to 0-2 after one inning. He allowed three runs (one earned) on one hit, with two walks, and no strikeouts.
Penn College is scheduled to return to action Saturday, 1 p.m., hosting Penn State Abington.
