ALFRED, N.Y. –.Penn College dropped a 3-1 decision to Alfred State in a non-conference women's volleyball match Wednesday. PCT fell 25-12, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22. The Wildcats fell to 1-8, while the Pioneers improved to 5-5.

Outside the Box: Tough serves from Marnati in the third set helped Penn College push a fourth set. Marnati began serves led to three straight Penn College points in a 25-22 set win.
 
"Abbi Mingus shifted positions to fill in for the sidelined Coryn Oswald and helped us stay competitive," Penn College coach Bambi Hawkins said. "With that shift, we were glad to have Kylee Butz return to full status and fill in where she was able to add a few kills that she had eagerly awaited the opportunity for."
