Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn College traveled to Penn State Harrisburg to compete in a women's volleyball NEAC conference match Thursday evening. The Wildcats fell to the Nittany Lions, 3-1. The Wildcats dropped to 1-11 overall, 0-3 NEAC, while the Nittany Lions improved to 9-5, 3-0.
How it Happened: Penn State Harrisburg took the first two sets, 25-13 and 25-12. The Wildcats responded by winning the third set, 17-25, before eventually falling, 25-12, in the final, and fourth, set.

Outside the Box: The Wildcats have seen steady improvement over the course of the season, but key injuries have plagued the team from the desired game results. The out-numbered Penn College team took on strong opponent and battled to the end. Head Coach
Bambi Hawkins said, "Lopsided scores do not tell the tale of the long rallies that our ladies mustered as they kept playing hard. With 7 players able to play, we had players step up in big ways despite being outsized by the opponent."
Abbigale Mingus led the offense with 7 kills while
Emalie Marnati contributed with 6 kills.
Kylee Butz had a solid all-around game with a game-high 7 service aces to go along with 7 digs and 3 kills.
Peyton Homan led the defense with 2 blocks while
Corianne Wilson had a team-high 11 digs.
