GREENSBURG, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 103-80 decision to Pitt-Greensburg in a non-conference men's basketball game Tuesday. The Wildcats fell to 2-8, while the Bobcats improved to 10-2.
How it Happened: Greensburg led the entire first half, while the Wildcats managed to get as close six, 16-10, on an
Elijah Vazquez three with 15:42 on the clock. The Bobcats led 59-40 at halftime. Greensburg maintained a double-digit lead the remainder of the game.
Inside the Box:
Ben Sosa scored a game-high 21 points for the Wildcats, on 8 of 14 from floor, and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds. Vazquez and
Corey Blackwell both finished with 10 points.
Five players reached double figures in scoring for Pitt-Greensburg, led by 19 from Jojo France and Matt Johnson.
Milestone Alert: Sosa is 26 points shy of reaching 1,000 career points.
