Wildcats Tie with Mustangs

Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Penn College faced Morrisville State on the road Saturday afternoon in a United East men's soccer match and drew a 0-0 tie. The Wildcats record climbed to 3-7-4 overall, 1-1-3 UE, while the Mustangs split to 4-7-2, 1-3-1.

How it Happened: The Wildcats offense was very aggressive as they outshot the Mustangs in each period, including both overtime segments.  Chris McFarland led the Wildcats' attack with seven shots, including five shots on goal, while Dylan Dailey added two shots on goal attempts.  Penn College struggled to find the back of the net as Morrisville finished with 13 saves in goal.  

Inside the Box: Penn College outshot Morrisville 22-8 in total shots, including a 13-4 advantage in shots on goal, and held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks. 

Braeden Eckard finished with four saves in goal for the Wildcats.

Up Next: The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, 4 p.m., at Susquehanna University.
