JENKINTOWN, Pa. – Penn College fell to Penn State-Abington, 12-4, in game three of the North Eastern Athletic Conference baseball semifinals Wednesday. The Wildcats concluded their season at 10-13, while the Nittany Lions (20-4) advanced to this weekend's NEAC Championship series at Penn State-Harrisburg.
How it Happened:
Christian Perna's single to center in the second inning gave Penn College an early 1-0 lead but Abington answered with three in the third, four in the fifth, two in the sixth and seventh, to take an 11-1 lead.
The Wildcats ended their scoring drought in the eighth with three runs.
Brayden Lippert,
Brian Robison, and
Jake Wagner all brought in runners with singles before the Lions tacked on one more in the bottom of the eighth.

Shane Price, and
Tyler Rudolph picked up two hits each to lead the offense.
Cole Culver fell to 1-3 after 4.1 innings. He allowed six earned, on seven hits, with two strike outs, and three walks.
Joel Verrico (.2 IP, 2 ER), Joey Fatzinger (2 IP, 2 ER, 2K, 2 BB), and
Andrew Snyder (1 IP, 1 ER, 1 K, O BB) all took the mound for the Wildcats.
