WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell 2-0 to Susquehanna University in a nonconference men's soccer match Wednesday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats dropped to 2-9-3, while the River Hawks improved to 1-8-3.
How it happened: Susquehanna took a 1-0 lead late in the first half on an assisted tally and added an insurance goal on a penalty kick in the 83
rd minute.
Penn College had its best chance to score in the first when
Dylan Dailey's shot hit the crossbar in the 15
th minute, and had a good look in the second when
Tommy DeGeyter's direct kick just outside of the box was blocked.
Inside the box: SU edged Penn College, 10-11, in shots, while the Wildcats held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Braedan Eckard stopped one shot in goal for Penn College.
