WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell in a pair of United East women's volleyball matches Saturday. The Wildcats dropped a 3-1 decision to Penn State Harrisburg and fell to Lancaster Bible, 3-0.
The Wildcats wrapped up their season 0-8 United East, 2-19 overall.
Against Penn State Harrisburg,
After falling 25-9 in the first set, Penn College trailed 24-20 late in the second. A service error and back-to-back aces from Cheyenne Stein pulled the Wildcats within one, 24-23, before another error deadlock the set at 24. Penn College picked up consecutive kills from Christine Limbert and Lauren Hergert to take the set and even the match at 1-1. Harrisburg won the remaining sets, 25-15, and 25-18.
