WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College lost to Penn State Harrisburg in a United East Conference women's soccer match Tuesday evening, 5-0. The Wildcats fell to 1-5 (1-1), while the Nittany Lions improved to 5-1-2 (2-0).
How it happened: The first half was a back and forth battle until Penn State Harrisburg netted a goal early in the 28
th minute to take a 1-0 lead entering halftime. The Nittany Lions added 4 more goals in the second half. The Wildcats fought hard but could not get the offense going and dropped the match 5-0.
Inside the box: Penn State Harrisburg outshot Penn College, 22-0 (14-0 on-goal), while the Wildcats held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
Nicole Lichtinger picked up nine saves in goal for Penn College.
