KEUKA, N.Y. – Keuka College netted a first half goal en route to a 1-0 victory over Penn College in a nonconference women's soccer match Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 0-4, while the Wolves improved to 2-0-1.
How it happened: Keuka netted a score early in the 14
th minute, while Penn College put one shot on frame in the first half but
Sara Darlington's attempt in the 26
th was stopped.
The Wildcats had two looks on-goal in the second half when
Cassie Johnson fired a shot in the 61
st minute and
Riley Reed had a look in the 78
th, but both were turned away.
Inside the box: Keuka outshot Penn College, 18-8 (7-3 on-goal), while the Wildcats held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
Nicole Lichtinger picked up six saves in goal for Penn College.
