WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College women's soccer's
Kaelynn Sheetz set a new program points record to lead the Wildcats to a commanding 6-2 victory over Penn State Abington in United East competition on Tuesday, night, Oct. 10.
How it happened: Sheetz assisted
Sara Darlington on the first goal of the night in the 14th minute to tie Hailee Hartman's previous mark of 91. Sheetz then set the record with a goal in the 31st minute before tacking on the next three consecutive Wildcat goals in the match (38', 46', 60') to set the new record at an even 100 career points.
Darlington finished off the night with a goal in the 84th minute on an assist from
Teagan Willey.
Inside the box: Rylee Oliphant, Darlington and
Piper Minier were all credited with an assist while
Nicole Lichtinger posted three saves in net to record her sixth victory. PCT fired off 31 shots with 14 on net while surrendering just six shots.
