Wildcats fall at Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn College lost 3-0 in a United East women's volleyball match at Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday. Penn College now is 4-13 overall and 0-3 in the UE. Penn State Harrisburg is 8-10 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

How it happened: The Lions held the Wildcats to 16 points in all three frames to claim the sweep. Marianna Dariychuk (10) and Cheyenne Stein (19) led PCT in kills and assists, respectively.

Inside the box: Harrisburg tallied 15 service aces and hit .247 to get the victory. Coryn Oswald tallied a team-best three aces to go along with five kills and one assist while Hailey DeBrody finished with four kills and a team-high nine digs.

Up next: Penn College is at Gallaudet University in UE action at 7 p.m. on Monday.
