WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College split with crosstown rival Lycoming College in cross-country races on Monday with the Wildcat men winning, 16-46, and the women falling, 18-43.
Penn College men: Mitch Campbell led the 15-runner field with a time of 29:56 over an 8K course and was followed by Matt Woolcock, who finished second in 29:57; Alec Rees, third in 30:41; Chase Ebeling, fourth in 31:30; Holden Furey, sixth in 32:10; and Jacob Parker, seventh in 32:11. Also for the Wildcats, Noah Bowers was ninth in 33:26 and Cody Patchell was 14th in 48:48.
Ken Draper led Lycoming with a fifth-place finish in 31:59.
Penn College women: Elaina Brady finished third in 27:13 over a 6K course to lead the Wildcats. Also, Skyelar Splain was seventh in 28:43, Natalie Greiner was 12th in 33:00, Kayleigh Miller was 13th in 33:21 and Maddie Adams was 15th in 38:19.
Lycoming's Kathryn Yocum topped the 16-runner field in 25:50.
