GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Penn College's cross country teams competed at Gettysburg's Aubrey Shenk Invitational on Saturday morning. The men placed 35th out of 44 teams with 994 points in the 8K race, while the women had five individual finishers in the women's 6K.

Logan Bohrer led the Wildcats, finishing in 189th place out of 465 runners with a time of 27:29.9, followed by Bryce Martin in 268th at 28:21.0 and Chase Ebeling in 281st at 28:36.8.

Division II Shippensburg's Tommy Crum led the men's race with a time of 24:18.6 while Susquehanna's Derick Blair was the top Division III finisher, placing fifth overall in 24:40.0.

Shippensburg claimed the team title with 70 points, just ahead of Johns Hopkins (82), St. Bonaventure (98), Davis & Elkins (144) and GRC-Tracksmith (151) rounded out the top-five men's teams. 

Amy Rohl led the Wildcat women finishers in the 6K race. Rohl placed 303rd with a time of 26:30.6, followed by Kate Butzler in 324th at 27:01.0 and Adelyn McDermott in 365th at 28:27.9.

Johns Hopkins' Carter Brotherton took the top time in the women's race in 20:48.2 and led the Blue Jays to the team title with 43 points. Lafayette (60), Shippensburg (165), Saint Francis (202) and Towson (213) claimed the top-5 spots in the women's field.
