WASHINGTON, D.C. - Penn College was swept by Gallaudet in United East women's volleyball action on Monday. The Wildcats fell to 0-4 UEC, 4-14 overall while the Bison remained unbeaten in conference play (3-0), and moved to 22-3 this season.
How it happened: The Bisons earned set scores of 25-7,  25-16 and 25-20 while hitting .287 in the match and holding the Wildcats to a .069 hitting percentage.
Inside the Box: Gallaudet led the Wildcats in kills (41-22), aces (10-3) and blocks (6-1).
Marianna Dariychuk posted a double-double with a team-best 15 digs and 12 kills in the match.
Coryn Oswald notched her eighth double-digit digs performance with 10 and
Cheyenne Stein went over 10 assists for the 15th time this season, finishing with 13 assists.
Up next: Penn College completes its road portion of the regular season on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. serve at Penn State Mont Alto before returning home for the final two matches of the regular season against Penn State Abington (Oct. 21) and St. Mary's (Oct. 28).Â
