WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 6-3 decision to Penn State Altoona in a nonconference women's tennis match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 2-1, while the Nittany Lions improved to 6-4.
How it happened:
Georgia Macensky and
Faith Murray teamed up to win No. 2 doubles, 8-6, while Altoona won No. 1 doubles, 8-0, and received a forfeit at No. 3.
Murray and
Jordan Specht picked up PCT's wins in singles competition. Murray won her No. 2 match, 6-3, 6-1, while Specht battled at No. 4 with 5-7, 6-3, 10-7, victory.
