MIDDLETOWN, PA - Penn College dropped to 16-13 overall and 11-3 in the United East after dropping game three of this weekends series with Penn State Harrisburg (24-6, 14-1 UE) by a score of 23-9.
How it happened:
The Lions exploded for nine runs over the first two innings before the Wildcats trimmed the lead to 9-2 after the top of the third. That was the closest the Wildcats would get as the Lions poured on 12 more runs in the next two frames to extend their lead to 21-3 after four-innings. Â

Penn College managed 11 hits on the afternoon.Â
Jacob Carles and
Shane Price had two hits each with Carles driving in a pair of runs and Price knocking in three RBI's on the day.Â
Ben Bretzman (3-3) tool the loss on the mound allowing 14 runs (nine earned), and 11 hits in 2.2 innings pitched.
