MONTCLAIR, N.J. – Penn College dropped a 21-8 decision to Montclair State in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 9-5, while the Red Hawks improved to 8-7.
How it happened: Montclair built a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter before A.J. Dotson put PCT on the board with 12:38 left before halftime. The Hawks netted five more shots before the break, while
Colby Williamson and Dotson each found the back of the net to make it 15-3 at the half.

Sam Hills, and
Croix Teter all scored in the third and Montclair added a trio of goals in the period. The Hawks opened the fourth with consecutive goals before Dotson and O'Leary scored the final two points late in the quarter.
Inside the box: Dotson and
James Thatcher both finished with four points. Dotson struck three times and dished out one helper, while Thatcher finished with four assists.
James Cella took the loss between the pipes with seven saves.
