Box Score LANGHORNE, Pa. – Penn College women's soccer remains undefeated as the Wildcats collected their second-consecutive victory with a 4-1 outing at Cairn on Wednesday night. The Wildcats are now 2-0-3 and the Highlanders slide to 0-3-0.
How it happened: The Wildcats scored three times in the first half to hold a 3-0 lead.
Teagan Willey got the offense started with her first goal of the season in just the second minute of the match on a
Kaelynn Sheetz assist.
Ten minutes later Sheetz scored unassisted and
BillieGean Hennessy was responsible for the third score at the 16:11 mark as she converted on a penalty kick attempt.
Sheetz notched her second goal and fifth point of the match in the 79th minute before the Highlanders broke through with a goal in the 83rd minute.
Inside the box:
Nicole Lichtinger turned away three of the Highlanders' four shots on goal while the Wildcats placed 10 of their 21 shots on frame. Sheetz tallied five shots and the team lined up for five corners in the match.
