WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –
Tommy DeGeyter's penalty kick in the 55
th minute lifted Penn College to a 2-1 win over St. Vincent in a nonconference men's soccer match Saturday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improved to 2-2-1, while Bearcats fell to 3-4.
How it happened: A foul in the box led to DeGeyter's PK but his initial attempt was stopped. However, St. Vincent's goalie left early and DeGeyter deposited his second chance to the bottom left corner and put the Wildcats ahead, 2-1.
The Bearcats took an early 1-0 lead when Antonio Mendes fired a penalty kick into the bottom left corner in the sixth minute. The Wildcats netted the equalizer after
